Russian forward of the NHL club Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin has appeared in the database of the notorious Ukrainian website Mirotvorets. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the website, Ovechkin allegedly participated in international competitions with the aim of "whitewashing Russia's reputation." The Ukrainian side accuses him of being present at events that justified "aggression" against Ukraine among foreign audiences.
In addition, the Russian was added to the Mirotvorets database for “war propaganda” and “deliberate violation of the state border of Ukraine with the intent to enter its territory.”
Earlier, Washington began selling collectibles in honor of Ovechkin's record.
